Sunday, May 21, 2006 – Dain Gingerelli (front) of Mission Viejo, California, and editor of IronWorks magazine, test drives “The Assassin,” a custom-made Harley-Davidson, for a feature story he’s writing. The bike, and two others pictured, was crafted by Rucker Performance of Haltom City, at North Texas Quality Chrome near U.S. Highway 82 and FM 1201 Friday. Rucker Performance, a three-year-old company headed by the co-founder of American IronHorse, is negotiating with Quality Chrome for a contract to produce chrome pipes and other pieces. Quality Chrome is housed in the former Hallcraft’s facility. Several former Hallcraft’s employees work for Quality Chrome.
