Rucker Performance passes EPA emissions with VFI engine
Fort Worth, Texas—October 10, 2006 — Rucker Performance, a leading designer and manufacturer of American muscle production and pro-mod motorcycles, has set a record as the first manufacturer to pass emission standards and receive EPA certification for the S&S T-Series 124 closed loop, VFI motor used in the Assassin production model.

After a period of more than two years of extensive development and calibration research, the Rucker Assassin has passed EPA Emission Standards using an S&S T-Series 124 equipped with VFI (Variable Fuel Injection). The addition of the S&S closed loop circuit helped Rucker Performance become the only manufacturer that offers this engine package standard on an EPA/CARB certified production motorcycle.

"Rucker Performance uses the latest technology and quality, high performance products in the industry such as S&S motors," said Bill Rucker, CEO of Rucker Performance. "S&S represents a tradition in excellence and innovation—a company and philosophy that we believe in."

Rucker Performance Assassins are currently in production for the 2007 year.

"Collaborating with Bill Rucker on cutting-edge projects is becoming habit for S&S," said S&S president, Brett Smith.

"Having an OEM take the lead and work to use our T-series engine in a fuel-injected configuration is extremely important to S&S and the v-twin industry. Technology is changing and improving and having relationships with people like Bill Rucker enhance our ability to get these new products to market quickly. "
