Rucker Performance

March 2006 - Going to the new bike intro covered elsewhere in the magazine interested us in this new company. So with some digging and a few phone calls we got the skinny from Meredith Husak, the Director of Marketing at Rucker.

Bill Rucker who also founded and was CEO of American IronHorse started Rucker Performance. Bill is committed to developing motorcycles with quality, technological innovation and extensive customization.

Designed and manufactured in Ft. Worth, Texas in the company’s 10,000 square foot facility, Rucker Performance offers completely custom motorcycles. They will build according to the customer's specifications. Limitless options are available including wheels, controls, custom frame, high performance engine, sheet metal, handlebars, exotic seat skins and custom graphics. Rucker can be custom fitted and measured for the best riding position, foot controls, handlebar height and pullback at the Rucker Performance factory. This ensures that each owner has the best riding position.

Many of the accessories are manufactured in house, including custom pullback handlebars, wheels and exhaust. They are currently working on manufacturing and designing a line of Rucker branded products.

The models include the Gauntlet, the Predator and the Vandal.

Big engines and tires are the norm. All of the models have at least a 124" engine. (Performance and Custom has one coming with a 145" engine and twin carbs!) The Vandal even has the super fat 330 wide tire.
