Rucker Rolls with AHDRA
August 2006 - Rucker Performance has signed a new sponsorship deal with the AHDRA. Rucker Performance started sponsoring AHDRA back in 2004 as the Super Gas class sponsor, however the new contract makes Rucker the lead national sponsor of the Lone Star Nationals at he Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, and as the Super Gas class sponsor for the 2007-2009 series seasons.
"AHDRA will mark great strides in the industry during the next three years producing events that are dedicated to the spirit of drag racing and high performance," says Bill Rucker, president of Rucker Performance.
The AHDRA's Lone Star Nationals event has shown a steady increase in attendance numbers and competitor participation since 2004, so supporting this event in Rucker's back yard makes sense. The class sponsorship for the rest of AHDRA's 14 national events is a bonus.
"The AHDRA event in Ennis, Texas, continues to grow every year and with the newly signed three year commitment from Rucker Performance, it can only get better," say Colbert Seagraves, AHDRA's director of marketing and sponsorship.
