Copperhead Hits The Market With A Bite
MPN
September 2004 - Custom bike builder Bill Rucker has unveiled his first new Rucker Performance custom motorcycle, called the Copperhead. This bike is the first of many according to Rucker, as he’ll soon introduce models with intriguing names like Gauntlet, Warlord and Assassin.
The Copperhead has a unique drop-seat design, which gives it a low center of gravity for better handling, stability, comfort and ergonomics. “The drop-seat design is more difficult to build, but it’s worth it,” says Rucker. “If it’s not comfortable and stable, why would you want to ride it?” The bike has a host of other features, including a 124 cubic inch engine, Weld wheels and Ness controls. The base MSRP for a Copperhead is $34,995.
