Dallas Business Journal Highlights the Meridian Marvel
Motorcycle maniac Ron Cogburn, president of Dallas-based construction consultants Meridian Consulting, says a custom-motorcycle promotion increased his revenue and profits by 48% and 50%, respectively.
It happened after Bill Rucker, president of Rucker Performance in Fort Worth, agreed to build Cogburn a custom v-twin chopper called the Meridian Marvel. Cogburn turned the process into a six-part "TV" program that's available for viewing on Meridian's Web site, then offered the bike as a hole-in-one prize at a national convention.
The marketing bonanza resulted in a $2 million boost in Meridian's top-line revenue, Cogburn says.
