Javier Lopez's
Gauntlet
When Atlanta Braves catcher, former player for the Colorado Rockies, Javier Lopez decided it was time to purchase a custom motorcycle, he contacted Rucker Performance in Haltom City, Texas. "I already had a Harley, but for my first custom bike it had to be unique," Lopez said. "I found out about Rucker Performance because I looked through so many different catalogs."
After Lopez met with Marselle from Biker's Dream of Atlanta, he knew he wanted a Rucker Performance Gauntlet. To discuss the details of the custom paint scheme on his custom, Lopez met with Carl Tyndell, Rucker Performance's Director of Creative Services. He settled on a black Gauntlet with orange flames, checker style paint, and skulls on the sides and back end. "The checker design made it look like a racing bike and the flames looked so real," Lopez said.
Lopez took a trip to the Rucker Performance factory in Texas, where he met one-on-one with Bill Rucker, President and CEO of Rucker Performance, and discussed the final designs and finishing touches on his custom bike. "When I saw the bike completely done, it looked better than I ever expected, it looked so pretty," Lopez said. "I can't wait to bring this bike back to my teammates."
