A New 1961 Corvette Restoration

Dr. Sloan engaged Bill Rucker to restore a 1961 Corvette to be given to his wife as a birthday present.

Bill found the car in Ohio and brought it back to Ft. Worth, TX. Rucker Performance stripped it and began the update process that included:

• Transmission conversion from manual to automatic 200 R4 Overdrive
• Vintage Air conditioning
• Motor grade 350 CI HEI Ignition
• Stereo upgrade
• New convertible top and frame
• New paint, red over white on a new gel coated body
• New tires and wheel package
• All Re-chromed Brightware

"The Corvette drives better than the day it drove off the showroom floor," said Kimberly Sloan. "It has power everything and drives every bit as smooth as a Lexus. I really feel safe and comfortable."
